Health is what I need. By Jim Gandolf

Health is what I need now.
By: Jim Gandolf

Why do I believe that I can live through anything? I just had to wake up, here. I; (Jim Gandolf) have type two diabetes. I just started to fall apart three years ago and I just couldn't get everything under control.
I had to listen to my doctors. My fight with my health consumed myself and my wife. I have great friends that think of everything. I prayed and prayed over what to do. I just cannot believe the amount of vitamins and health information that is out there. Essential oils are amazing, I was a guinea pig, vitamin C, and so many mineral. Fiber is for real. Understanding what all of my organs are going through is scary as all get out. High blood pressure was a sure way to stay in the hospital. I had to change my whole lifestyle. I just didn't know what to believe or who to believe at all. Google was my best bet. Facebook was helpful, because of so many of my friends and family members at my finger tips. Everyone had help me bring my A1C down from 11.5 to 6.5. Some perspective here. I did have some prescriptions, but not much. I had to fight my for my health. I started to lose my vision in my eyes. When I lowered my A1C.  I started to get my vision back. There is hope for a crazy path of distress my heath was under. I cannot believe everything that I have tried in this endeavor. I love how my wife and friends have helped me get my health under control. I am not an expert here, I can only explain about my experience. My healing started with praying and studying everything that I could. I feel that the Lord had helped me. I hope for positive continuous guidance from everyone.

Thank you,

The Violence in the Central Indiana Community is Horrible By Jim Gandolf

The violence in Indianapolis, Indiana had gotten out of control.  I feel that it is not the Metropolitan Police Departments problem at all. I feel that the problem lies within communication between citizens and city government. Violence stems for many reasons within in the city limits, but lets have a conversation about, not one citizen within Indianapolis, Indiana can communicate at all with a police officer in a real time frame. Citizens have to communicate with Crime Stoppers? Yes that avenue is supposed to be effective, but it is not at all. for a person that sees a crime going on, has no real interaction to feel safe in any communication. Eye to eye contact and real accountability to the person the citizen is giving the information to? I do love the city of Indianapolis, but their needs to be a real discussion on safety within the city leaders or we should look at getting these city leaders replaced. I feel the last three years have been wasted on talk and no action at all. When I was young we had community centers to go to and have fun. I do feel we need to connect with our own community first before we try to help the whole city. I feel that that last statement is a farce in reality, but in some how we need to start somewhere soon. I do like the Mayor of Indianapolis, but I have a problem with him over the crazy riots last year. our state has the software to know who is doing what? I do not see anyone getting into trouble over messing up our downtown Indy? Our police officers are in battle everyday and can't see hope in font of them our their family life. I feel the everyone within the community should be able to communicate freely and build this city of Indianapolis back up. Start to show up at community centers as well as your local church. Get involved in creating solutions, not to just watching the news and listen to the bad news, and say, "What a shame?" Get to know your local neighborhood police officers, and your council members. Why can't we see the solution to our city? I see that our solution is communication. Our city is our business, and we need to step in and start to strive in hope and change driven within ourselves. Take a police officer to lunch, or your church leader. You take wanna be clients out to lunch, and turns into a mess, maybe I am an absolute mess? I do not like getting into a conversation with a potential client, saying, "Isn't your city very violent?" When I know we can do better in our city. I am ready to help in any way here in my home town.

When can we find love instead of hate?

This is a hard question to think about
