Hand Shake

I was at the doctors not to long a go. My doctor is really good keeping me healthy and all but one comment that he made stands clear in my mind, " Jim this is a bad flue season keep hand sanitizer in your pocket because you shake a lot of hands and that is how bad germs transfer from a lot of hand shakes". I believe that for just a little while, but that just dose not stand for me. I am a believer in Jesus, and when I shake a persons hand I always look in that persons eyes and without that person knowing that I am praying with the lord to save that person from any sins and pain in their live. I just do not need a hand sanitizer I have the lord cleaning my hands as I shake someones hand. Its true I do shake a lot of hands but I do pray and I never get sick from that. When I leave that person and shake their hand, I pray for their success in our business together and their health. The lord is the best hand sanitizer in my world and I never have any problems with colds or the flue. I pray for everyone to understand you do not need a cold pill to save you. You just need the lord love. I always need the lord all the time, it is all right the lord is with us all the time.

Fireplace

I did notice this evening how wonderful the fire is in a fire place truly is. I did see one and look at the flames in this fireplace and for some reason I started to remember some of the great moments in my life when I was sitting by the fireplace through my years. The remembrance in my younger years of fun at one of my friends house. To when I was at some very tasty places that I sat by the fireplace to eat with friends. I remember when my son sat on my lap and I would read him a wonderful children book and he would fall a sleep. The fire place when I asked my wife to marry me and handed her a ring and the glow on face from the flames as she said yes how warm that felt. I do have some sad times as well around the fireplace. The news of a good friend passing on, in my early 20s. My explaining myself when things just was not right and then staring into the flames of a fireplace one time as a the news of a car crash that took the life of two friends. Their is so much into small things like a fireplace that so much can happen around that item that through the years can be around so much happiness and sadness, that we can forget how important these things can help us remember our life's as we remember the item like the fireplace.

My great Chex Party Mix Gandolf Style !

This is the season for my Jimmy Mix Chex Mix and I just found out we can microwave it as well.
This is what you need:
3 cups corn chex cereal
3 cups rice chex cereal
3 cups wheat chex cereal
1 cup Spanish nuts(1/2 cup cashews, 1/2 cup walnuts)
1 cup bite-sized pretzels(or stick style)
2 cups goldfish crackers cheddar
6 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil(not butter and not margarine)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 1/2 tsp Gandolf Foods seasoned salt
3/4 tsp Gandolf Foods roasted garlic powder
1/2 tsp Gandolf Foods onion powder

Mix all together in large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered on high 5 to 6 minutes. Stir thoroughly every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels or cookie sheet to cool. Store in air tight container or freezer bag.

Snow here in Wsconsin

Today was so full of snow. My son was so excited he did get to move some snow for the elderly and made a few bucks. My best friend Mr. Richards is getting things done for us in the am/pm C Stores today. Johnny is getting married to a wonderful lady. Now I have to focus on how our company will budget spending money in the next IRL season. It looks like we will be in the mix for Johnny to race in some great 24 hour races I am planning that budget this evening. I put a picture of Lake Michigan and the ice. Yes it is very cold up here in Wisconsin just about 17 inches in the last few days and 5-6 more tonight.
