Colts owner Jim Irsay; Needs Prayer, By Jim Gandolf

He or she without sin cast the first stone, is what the thought should be over this action.

I feel the the Irsay family needs prayer for a while. I think what they are going through is unbelievable. Yes Jim has money and everything you can have. Jim Irsay is in a pickle because non of us Christians had grabbed his hand and prayed for him (Or anyone else that has that drug problem). Has any of us here in Indiana tried to just sit down and had a pray meeting with him? I feel that everyone in the grasps of drugs needs a city wide prayer day. Families are being killed over this drama of controlled substances. Our Police in the surrounding cities face death everyday of this mess. Jim Irsay is having a difficult time here. Can you only create the imagination atmosphere of this happening to you or kids of brother or sister? This has happened to my brother, sister, and close friends; and I have gone to a lot of funerals over this battle of drugs. I use to worry over some of our friends that are police officers, and their daily human side of their own job. This is a tough stone to cast because I just can't condone any unpositiveness action here. This is a call to our State of Indiana to rise and shine over this battle of craziness drug action. I encourage strong prayer over this drug action and not to create criticism over the rich man down action, but to look at all the lives that drugs have conflicted in life and now my friends take a stand. Clean out state then our country! It is time all that are infected to go help people that want to seek help! This is not an embarrassment to our city but a chance to gather a strong love for our friends and family members to get help by mass-use prayer meetings, and helping the police. It is time to help everyone in this matter; or are we going to take Jim Irsay to the stake? I don't want any other origination like the NFL saying our City is not fit to have the Colts, or some how we forget that all the drug addicted people that live around us throughout the USA, the police, the sheriff, the EMT, and the hospital staff that have to deal with this horrible drug mess in our State of Indiana!

From ESPN : Colts owner Jim Irsay has voluntarily checked into a "highly respected" health-care facility to undergo treatment, the team announced Tuesday.

Irsay faces four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance after being arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel late Sunday.

"[Irsay] is committed to undergoing the treatment and care necessary to help him meet his challenges head-on," the team said in a statement. "Jim, the Irsay family, and the Colts organization are all deeply appreciative of the incredible outpouring of support and compassion from our fans and the Indiana community."

Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Irsay's daughter, is the principal of authority with Irsay in rehab, meaning that, in Irsay's temporary absence, she has the final say on decisions.

If convicted on the felony charges, Irsay could face six months to three years in prison on each count. Schedule IV drugs such as those with which Irsay was allegedly caught include Xanax, Valium and Ambien, which are considered to have relatively low risks for abuse or dependency, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency.

Irsay acknowledged in 2002 that he had become dependent on painkillers after several orthopedic operations, but he said he had overcome the problem after undergoing treatment.
