Grand Prix of Indianapolis is today! by: Jim Gandolf

Today marks the most creative day in over a hundred years in motorsports. This is the first Grand Prix of Indianapolis. I have looked at the starting grid, and I am absolutely convinced that at the end of this race, there will be a champion of clear vision. The race teams are ready, I just do not think that each one of the race crew members are aware of the most exciting balance of being the first winner at something this so major of an event. To even be a tree that has been over time and has seen every race in the most famous race track in the world in the infield. Today marks the serenity of peace and accommodating balanced of a new champion that can clearly be marked as the victor of the first champion of this major Grand Prix. My heart goes out to the challenge of the team and driver that crosses the start and finish line first. I know this perfect day is all about clarity in performance, and the time to stand and shout for your favorite drive is drawing near. I feel that the day is all about trial and error; whatever driver has the fewer mistakes will be the victor in this glorious day of competition throughout the two and a half mile oval call the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  The starting grid will go down in history as the first race in open wheel to strive the balance of being the first group of IndyCar Drivers to even be in this very exciting race. At the end of the race the Lord will decide the winner and where everyone else will be in their place in history. I know that every fan that will watch this race will be so excited that they will never forget the first race called the Grand Prix of Indianapolis on this wonderful day. I remember as little man the first time I did see a race car in action at that most famous race track in the world called the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and how I prayed to the Lord for the first time and asked the Lord for something. The place looks wonderful as ever on this great day. The race teams are getting ready to achieve history and I am now ready to watch the greatest Grand Prix action in a long time. I will shout cheers and be in despair in this mighty race. I will pray for the safety of everyone involved in this wonderful day of excitement as history is getting ready to evolve in this wonderful world today. The Lord has blessed us all too even be a part of history today. There are winners and losers in a major event of this magnitude; and a blessing to even be a witness to this grand race today is a gift from the Lord.   May peace be in the hearts of all because in the next few hours we will have a champion on this fine day.
