The Distribution Channel
Chain of intermediaries, each passing the product down the chain to the next organization, before it finally reaches the consumer or end-user. This process is known as the 'distribution chain' or the 'channel.' Each of the elements in these chains will have their own specific needs, which the producer must take into account, along with those of the all-important end-user.
1. Distributor, who sells to retailers.
2. Manufactures that sell to distributors.
3. Retailer setting their system to sell to the customer.
Now a manufacture can not sell to the distributor if they are not prepared to fund major promotions to get the public aware of the manufactured items. If you can not even fund this type of movement. Then do not even attempt to sell to distributors if you can not even promote your product. No one wants to deal with you manufactured product when your items do not sell. The distributor can not sell your product if you can not support the product yourself. No one will help you but yourself in this matter. If you hire an inventor company to help you you will loose valuable funds to promote your product. You will need an attorney though, but not a inventors group that eat up thousands of dollars before you even began.
