Race Car Driver Time

I think of a race car driver as a time bomb sometime with no timer set on their own foundation of life. Can you see how crazy life would be to fight so hard to get all your funds together for the chance to drive something so fast, like the top of the performance of that vehicle (The race car). The fight for crew members (That work on the race car) to understand what you are feeling when you drive that race car. The explanation to engineers why the car is not at the top of its game; then trusting these engineers to have the mindset to fix this problem, without hurting yourself or this race car. The factors in your life are not adding up to a successful race on this grand day at whatever race track you are at. People; that you don’t even know wanting your attention for just a few minutes just to sign your name on something, or post a picture of you on some social site for their own bragging rights. The heat that is consuming you while you have a fire suit on. News media wanting to do an interview with you, but wait a minute you have to talk to someone from the company that gave you the money to drive. The sponsor wants to talk to you. You still have to trust the crew member that the engineers made the right adjustments to the car. Remember you still have to drive this car and push this race car to its very limits. Now your team owner is in some crazy conversation that you just don’t want any part of with a possible new sponsor, which might be under the understanding you really have to focus right at this time and minute. The focus is driving this race car under a circus atmosphere and the thought hits the back of your mind as you look at this race car; is this, the last race car I will drive? Then the voice comes over in your mind; focus on what you have to do right now. In your mind you have shaken off the most deadly thoughts of a race car driver. Did you escape that thought, did it weaken you? No; you take a deep breath get yourself ready for the next five minutes. If your a race car driver; fear is not acceptable to no one around you at all, you then with no emotion in you're whole body expression think of the Lord for help. Your life is truly in the hands of the Lord, and then you are finally at peace to focus on your actual job.
