Donut's
in my life: by Jim Gandolf
I
am a lover of the donuts of all kinds. I feel that the donut business has
reached a new level of "Let's Fool the Customer" action in my life. I
know the value of Long's Bakery in Indianapolis, Indiana, the donut master's.
Why is Long's Bakery the donut master's? Long's Bakery has mastered the art of
making the perfect donut, and have kept the original transmission in small
business ownership, to keep major business development in the bakery business
at a loss for words. Long's Bakery has put out of business in Indianapolis, Indiana, Krispy Kreme donuts, private franchise operations, to change
management system in major grocery stores. I was in a meeting a few months ago,
with the guy that killed Dunkin Donuts, over being to labor intensive to have
the store's make the donuts? That was D&D structure, "Time to make the
donuts!" Then the Dunkin Donuts company decided (Base off an accounting
department of the company) to make the donuts off site and have the donuts sent
to the store each day? Store's ran out of donuts often, donuts are not freaking
fresh any more. Attorney's and accounting department want us to define fresh? I
made the comment, go to Long's Bakery and re-event the taste of what a fresh
donut? This meeting was in Indianapolis Indiana, and not somewhere else to
where they wouldn't know to what I am saying. Major grocery stores have list
the realization of fresh confusion on made at the store donuts, except Marsh
Group in Indiana. I have tried Jack's Donuts in Carmel, Indiana, to which is a
great tasting donut shop, but pricey and cost more than double of Long's
Bakery? Why in the world of getting a great donut is so difficult in central
Indiana? Because I met a cost effective nightmarish type of person who ruined
Donut business in a national level. I understand completely different with
Hostess cake bakery, and Little Debbie Bakery types, and do like the ability to
work with the needs of convenience. But let's demand real world of what it
takes to have our family's taste fresh donut's. Sometimes business development
consultant can ruin your own businesses to just looking at the numbers.
Question about the love of the product of made right now in front of us dies
because of labor intensive bean counters! That's is what has happened to our
country! We have lost to labor intensive adjustment specialist! "Let's
hire some inexpensive workers and no one will notice at all", as the labor-intensive
bean counters express? I was so mad after that meeting in Carmel, Indiana at a
great lunch place called the "Stacked Pickle" that makes fresh great
lunches! I am nothing but a donut expert myself, because my family raised me in
the fresh donut world. I am a donut expert eater! Now we know the decline of
the donut shop business, because of accountants!

a serious note from: Jim Gandolf.
